- Thumb Stabiliser 2389 with metal thumb stay keeps the thumb immobilised and supports CMC (base of thumb) and MCP joints (the large joint in the hand where the finger bones meet the hand bones) while still allowing palm and finger movement for daily activity
- Curved design and hook-and-loop straps located at the wrist and thumb enable conformity to radial side curve of wrist (located on the side of the wrist closest to the thumb), providing strong support to ease joint stress and soft tissue around thumb, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain
- Prevents overstretching and injury reoccurrence for full thumb protection and enhanced healing
- Constructed from a mesh of nylon and elastic. Optimal density of vents to promote air circulation for heat dissipation, but also enhances fit and alignment to wrist line for optimal comfort
- Meticulous design of inner layer improves convenience of one-handed application so can easily be put on
